Role Overview

As a Senior Solution Architect, you'll define the architecture behind the next generation of our platform, driving cross-team solution design and shaping the evolution of our microservice landscape.

Own the solution and system architecture for cross-team platform initiatives, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and design architectures that balance scalability, resilience, security, performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering within Java Enterprise/Spring environments
At least 5 years of experience as a Software or Solution Architect designing distributed, cloud-native systems
Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, ideally on AWS, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, APIs, and modern software architecture principles
Strong understanding of software quality, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability in SaaS environments
Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives such as architecture redesigns, platform migrations, or large integration projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and make sustainable technology decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences
Experience working in agile development environments; experience with SAFe is an advantage
Fluent English (written and spoken); basic German skills are a plus
